Analyst Research and Insights
Social Media Group is expanding! We are looking to add a measurement expert to the Research & Insights team – somebody who understands insights and can contribute to the development of innovative social media strategy and tactics for our clients and our business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and measure social media campaigns and programs using third-party and proprietary tools and platforms, gathering data around brands/issues/products
- Draft reports for client projects and ensure quality control and effectiveness of communications
- Participate in client communication and presentation of findings, results and reports. Provide context, recommendations, counsel and help explain findings.
- Prepare and keep current information about SMG clients, trends in online research, monitoring and analysis, tools and approaches for measurement and monitoring of social media and online communities.
- Research and write articles for company’s blog and other company activities.
Required Experience
At least 18 months of experience in analysis, research and client relations in the area(s) of:
- Public Relations/Communications
- Marketing/Advertising
- Business/Systems Analysis or Consulting
- Market Research
- Solid communications skills, both written and verbal
- Solid research, analysis, data mining skills
- Web analytics
- Familiarity with common database, spreadsheet and related software
- Depth of knowledge about social media and online communities
- Familiarity with social media listening platforms
